Privacy Terms

The privacy of your personal data when accessing our website is an important concern to us. Therefore, we adhere to the legal regulations regarding data protection, in particular the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG) as well as the data protection acts of the German federal states.

Any data you transfer to us will naturally be treated confidentially. We will not provide your data to third parties for use, unless you have declared your express consent, or we are obliged to reveal such data due to an order by the authorities or by court.

The acquisition, storage, processing and use of your personal data is exclusively subject to the following privacy terms.

1. Acquisition, Storage, Processing and Use of Personal Data

a) Acquisition, Storage, Processing and Use of Data when accessing www.speidel-behaelter.de

On simple access to our website www.speidel-behaelter.de, we do not acquire, store, process or use any of your personal data. However, data is temporarily collected in a log file on our server for purposes of data security which may possibly enable identification (e.g. IP, date, time and data accessed). This usage data will be used anonymously for statistical purposes by way of internal assessment regarding user interest and user behaviour. To this end, the IP address will be truncated by its last octet (the last three digits of your IP address) before evaluation. This will prevent any subsequent identification of your person.

Evaluation of this usage data to create a personal usage profile will not occur unless you have expressly consented to such use. We expressly reserve the right to evaluation in case of abusive intrusion to our website or any other infringement which may lead to criminal information.

Beyond that, evaluation of your usage data or transfer to any third party is expressly precluded.

b) Storage, Processing and Use of Data Expressly Provided by You

Beyond that, personal data will be acquired if provided by you, e.g. when registering, completing a form or by sending e-mails, ordering products or services, request or demanding material.

We will use the personal data provided by you (form of address, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) subject to the provisions of German data protection law.

Your personal data – insofar as it is required for the conclusion, content or change of the contractual relationship (stock data) – is used exclusively for the fulfillment of the contract between us, e.g. delivery of goods to the address given by you. Use of your stock data beyond this for purposes of market research or configuration of our website according to market needs does not occur.

Your personal data necessary to enable and settle usage of our services (usage data) is at first stored exclusively for the fulfillment of contracts concluded between us, as well. Such usage data includes in particular characteristics for your identification as user, details on beginning and end as well as extent of specific access, and details on telemedia services accessed by you as user.

c) Storage, Processing and Use of Data with Your Express Consent

Upon express consent given by you, we are entitled to acquire, process or store, to combine with other data, to archive and to use personal data. This declaration of consent occurs separately and voluntarily and will be documented; its content is accessible to you at any time. Insofar as you have given consent for the use of personal data for particular purposes subject to reservation of consent, you can revoke this declaration at any time. The data in question will then be deleted by us. Insofar as data has been transferred to third parties with your consent, these third parties will be informed without delay and be called upon to delete the data. You are entitled to limit consent to usage of your data. Deletion will then occur according to the extent of the limitation.

d) Data Processing and Use in Disregard of Revocation and/or without Consent

The Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Data Protection Act) does, however, allow under any circumstances the processing and use of data when occurring within the context of a specific function of a contract or a quasi-contractual relationship of trust or insofar as it is necessary for the protection of the legitimate interest of the storing party and there is no reason to assume that the legitimate interests of the person concerned in the prevention of processing or storage do not supersede the storing party’s legitimate interest. Therefore, data processing and usage can occur without your consent within the limited framework conceded by law, in particular in accordance with statutory archival storage requirements, despite revocation of consent in full or in part.

2. Revocation, Locking, Deletion and Correction of your Personal Data

a) Revocation

You are entitled to revoke your consent regarding storage of your personal data at any time or to demand correction of this data. You are also entitled to revoke your consent to the acquisition and storage of further voluntary data by us at any time.
